Keeping track and finding new fic

1.
Do you somehow keep track of the fic you've been reading?
Do you use bookmarks or a service like delicious or do you save them on your harddrive?
I keep a list of the books I've read and would like to do the same for fic. So far delicious seemd to be the right place, but as it's now being sold after all, I'm on the lookout for alternatives. And in general I'd be interested to know whether you keep track at all.
2.
Where do you find new fics to read? Or rather: do you go actively looking for new stuff? Do you rely on known authors/fests/reccers?
I realized that the pool of writers I read from is pretty small and that I very, very rarely go looking for new stuff and mostly rely on the recs of certain people. What about you? And if you are like me, who do read/rely on for recs?

2. Any favourite authors you'd recommend? :)
